Dorothy Napier Howard

August 29, 1930 - January 13, 2009

Dorothy Napier Howard, 78 of Newtown in Pineville passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Pineville on August 29, 1930 a daughter of the late Sam and Vina Helton Napier. She was a homemaker and was a believer in the holiness faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Benjamin Adam Howard.
Survivors include her children, Bruce W. and Joetta Howard of Cumberland Gap, Dennis and Darlene Howard of Newtown Hill, Ralph and Pamela Howard of Pineville, Glenn Howard of Newtown and Adam and Angie Howard of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren, Robin Howard, Nicholas W. Howard, Gage Brown, Caleb Howard and Alicia Howard; great-grandchild, Emily Sayer; a host of brothers and sisters and special friend, Dorothy Gambrel.

Funeral Information

Services will be 2 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville with Rev. Robert Simmons. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
