Mr. Thomas Mink Jr.
October 12, 1935 - November 18, 2008
Thomas Mink, Jr. Tom Mink, Jr, 73 of Lexington passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Bell County on October 12, 1935 a son of the late Tom and Lutisha Wilder Mink. He had retired from General Motors Corporation in Michigan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Muncy and brothers, Hobart, Earnest, Guy, Ford and Orville Mink.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Fredia Partin Mink of Lexington; son, Gregory Mink and his wife, Tricia of Waterford, MI; granddaughters, Amanda Jade Mink and Carmen Alexendra Mink of Waterford, MI; sisters, Francis Saylor of Pineville and Reva Biddex and husband, Ed of Rutherfordton, NC; brother, Paul Mink and wife Pauline of Franklin, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be Saturday, November 22 at 2 PM at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Lindsey Davis and Rev. Allen Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens at Middlesboro. Members of the American Legion, Dewey Guy Post 14 of Middlesboro will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends after 12 PM on Saturday until the hour of the funeral at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville. Guestbook at www.arnettsteele.com.
