Ronnie "Cotton" Brock Ronnie “Cotton” Brock, 56, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Pineville Community Hospital. Born in Pineville on February 21, 1954, he was the son of the late Marlin and Nettie Dishman Brock. He had been a lineman for a utility company and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Brock.
Survivors include his daughters, Tracy Baker and husband, Ricky, Augustina Brock, Erica Brock and Amber Short and husband, Rob; eleven grandchildren, brothers and sisters and their spouses, Norma and Dean Napier, Marie and Leonard Hubbard, Diane and Mickey Saylor, Angela and Houston Wolfgang, Marlin Brock, Jr., Joey and Tammy Brock, Alvin Brock, Mickey and Donna Brock, step-brother, Bo and Rhonda Kegley and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. George Neal. Burial will be in the Brock Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12 until the funeral hour on Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Brock Family.
