Charles E. Hall Charles E. Hall, 87, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the Claiborne County Hospital. He was born in Middlesboro on June 18, 1919 the son of the late Gus and Margaret Pettit Hall. He had served in the United States Army during World War II and was a Baptist. He had been a Brick Mason.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Lee Cardwell and a brother, Fred Hall.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Virginia Rebecca Smith Hall; children, Retha G. Brock, Larry Hall and his wife, Anna and Pat Fulton and her husband, Baylor; grandchildren, Scott Patterson, Stephanie Patterson, Will Maxwell and wife, Heather, Jamie Jones, David Hall and Alicia Bowling and husband, Aaron; great-granddaughters, Olivia Bowling; niece, Shirley Caldwell Hunter and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 8 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Cox and Rev. Randy Phelps.
Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery at Clear Creek on Monday at 11:30 AM with Rev. Mike Sutton. Pallbearers will be Adam Carter, David Hall, Jamie Jones, Will Maxwell, Colson Napier, Scott Patterson and Steve Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Milton Brooks, Dr. B. Cabuay, Earl Hurst, Bob Madon, John Money, Melvin Money, Steve Morgan and Jim Roan.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
