Margarete Vettese

Margaret Vettese Margaret Vettese, 87 of Dewitt, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital. She was born in Appalachia, Virginia on November 1, 1921 a daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Messer Bays. She believed in the Pentecostal faith and had worked as a shipping and receiving clerk for Rhynne China Company.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Vettese, children, Oples Messer and Margaret Ellen Messer and a sister, Gloria Broughton.
Survivors include her children, Forrester Norman Messer, Angelo Anthony Vettese, Vincenzo Vettese, Mary Anna Vettese and Teresa Victoria Baker; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Hensley. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery at Dewitt. Pallbearers will be Forrester Messer, Angelo Vettese, Vincenzo Vettese, Leonard Baker, Arteli Baker and Scotty Messer.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM on Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville.
