Ida Forester Brock

January 15, 1925 - September 28, 2007

Ida Forester Brock, 82, loving wife of Homer Brock for 66 years, died on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born January 15, 1925 to Sol and Polly Saylor Forester in Bell County, KY. She was a member of the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Hugh (Janice) Brock and brothers and sisters, Jess, Nannie, Mary, Henry, Della, Martha, Elizabeth, J.C. and Hazel.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Brock, her children, , Janis and Tom White, Hugh Brock, Charles Ray Brock, Ernest and Diane Brock and Gary and Cheryl Brock, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, sister, Ada Mae Lawson and brother, Hugh Helton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church with Pastor Don Messer and Rev. Thea O. Carter. Music will be by Faye Messer, Lucy Smith and Rev. Dave Baker. Burial will be in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery at Pineville. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearer will be Tom White.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM Monday at the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church at Stoney Fork.
