Bradford Lawson Bradford Lawson, age 95, of Morristown, TN., passed away May 11, 2010 at the Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare. He was born July 24, 1914, a son of the late Wilk and Fannie Brock Lawson. He believed in the Baptist faith and had been a school bus driver for the Bell County School System. He had served in the United States Army during World War II.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ardill Lawson, Ewell Lawson, Richard Lawson, John Lawson and Arthur Lawson; sisters, Bessie Helton, Clora Meredith, LouAnna Sizemore, Debbie Brock, Susie Schutte and Chanie Huge.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ethel Helton Lawson, children and their spouses, Ronald and Sandra Lawson, Bonnie Jean and Rick Warren, Jeweldean and George Surface, Brenda Kay and Randall Ridley, Donnie and Dolly Lawson and Stanley and Marlene Lawson; brother, Edward Lawson; sister, Marie Wilcox; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Information
Service will be at 7 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Helton.
Entombment will be on Thursday at 12 Noon at Green Hills Memorial Garden Mausoleum with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lawson family.
